Driscoll Health Plan to hold Mother’s Day events

CORPUS CHRISTI – Driscoll Health Plan is sponsoring its second annual Mother’s Day Community Resource Fair, an event where mothers, moms-to-be and families can relax and enjoy a fun Saturday morning.

The fair will be held Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., inside the Recreation Center at First Baptist Church, 3115 Ocean Drive. The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature games, giveaways, crafts, immunizations, health screenings, live entertainment and more.

LAREDO – Driscoll Health Plan is sponsoring a Mother’s Day Expo & Resource Fair, an event where mothers, moms-to-be and families can relax and enjoy a Saturday morning.

The fair will be held Saturday, May 4, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Haynes Recreation Center, 2102 Clarks Crossing Drive.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will focus on women’s health and will health screenings, prenatal programs, Zumba, door prizes, a Mariachi band, and more.

BROWNSVILLE – Driscoll Health Plan is sponsoring a Mother’s Day Out Expo, an event where mothers, moms-to-be and families can relax and enjoy a fun morning.

The fair will be held Thursday, May 9, from 9 a.m. to noon, on the second floor of the Driscoll Specialty Center, 5500 N. Expressway 83.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will focus on women’s health and will feature snacks, haircuts, manicures, mascots, and more.

PHARR – Driscoll Health Plan is sponsoring Me Cuido, Me Quiero, y Me Celebro (I take care of myself, I love myself and I celebrate myself), a special Mother’s Day event where mothers, moms-to-be and families can relax and learn more about healthy living.

The fair will be held Wednesday, May 8, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Pharr Development & Research Center, 850 W. Dicker Road.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will focus on women’s health and will feature mommy pampering activities, prenatal yoga, nutritional information, snacks, door prizes and more.
