Driscoll Health Plan among sponsors of free baseball clinic in Brownsville
WHAT: Driscoll Health Plan is joining the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings, the City of Brownsville Parks & Recreation Department and Healthy Communities of Brownsville to sponsor a free summer baseball clinic for children ages 5 through high school. The clinic will feature baseball instruction in all areas of offense, defense, pitching and catching. Each player should bring a glove, baseball equipment (if possible) and comfortable practice clothes. Sunscreen and caps are highly recommended. The first 300 registered players will receive a goody bag and a chance to win WhiteWings game tickets for a family of four. Hot dogs and refreshments will be offered to players at the conclusion of the camp.
